The first time I used the masque, it burned liks crazy and I didn’t use it for a couple of years after that. He’s never had a problem with it.

I can tell you this much- the thing WORKS. I mean, will-actually-pull-blackheads-out-of-your-skin, you see oil spots on the mask when it’s dry, and your pores are VISABLY much smaller when you’re done using it. It’s also cheap. It’s an awesome masque.

I’d bet the other user has dryer skin, and over-stripped her skin before she used the masque, which would make it hurt (that’s what I did before I used it that made it so miserable the first time). If you have dry skin, instead of using a harsh soap to clean your face before you put the mask on, try using a cleansing lotion, or just wash your face and leave it for half an hour to an hour. And yes, it does tingle a bit, but if you just sit it out for a few minutes it’s fine, and you’ll have amazing, soft, skin with small pores and fewer blackheads.
